Raise the Roof Ball

Royal School for the Deaf Derby need to repair their school and sports hall roofs;
they are holding a ball at Pride Park Stadium on 19th April 2008 to raise funds.
 
Tickets are £35 each (£350 for a table of 10) and include 3 course meal, 
complimentary glass of wine and entertainment.

This event will take place 11-17 February 2008 and planning is now underway. Why don't you get involved? Enquiries are welcomed from both individuals, support groups and other organisations. An opportunity for individuals, Self-help groups and Audiology clinics to make a difference in public.

Young Film Critic of the Year 2007 Award
NDCS is working with Film Education (organiser of the awards) to ensure all sensory impaired students in the UK are given the opportunity to enter this exciting competition. Judged in 2 age categories (11–14 and 15–18), students should write and submit an original 250-word film review of any film that has been on general release in 2007.
