Providing specialist equipment for
Deaf children in the Derby area

DDCS aims to provide text phones for all local Deaf children over the
age of eight who would benefit from them. These not only help the
children to be independent in using the phone, but open up more social opportunities as well helping with their English skills.

Alternatively we provide fax machines for Deaf children from the age of
five, to enable them to enjoy and develop their communication skills.

Derby City Jubilee Special Needs Toy Library
This is a Derby city service offering children, with special educational needs up to the age of thirteen, a range of good quality toys and equipment.  They supply an excellent range of sensory equipment.  For more details, telephone Kate Latham on 01332 371294 x230
